Kristina Zilinskaite  (b. 1958)

Kristina Zilinskaite,was born in 1958.  She graduated from J. Naujalis School of Fine Arts, Kaunas, Lithuania in 1976. Graduated from State Institute of the Applied and Decorative Arts, Lvov, Ukraine, in 1982.  
Activities: She works in the field of painting, printmaking, graphic arts, and glass art.
Participated in exhibitions since 1982, started her professional career in creating paintings and working with glass and stained glass.  Later, she began to work with printmaking and exhibited her graphic works at many international events and exhibitions of printmaking in different countries. Her work is held in public and private collections, including Ministry of culture of Ukraine; Kharkiv Fine Arts Museum, Ukraine; The National Folk Decorative Art Museum, Kiev, Ukraine; Trakai History Museum, Lithuania; Douro Biennial Printmaking collection, Portugal; City Museum Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland; National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, etc.

Blazhevski, Trajce – Macedonia

Trajce Blazhevski (b. 1955)
Born in Skopje. Trajce Blazhevski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Pristina, department of Graphic Arts in 1980. Postgraduate studies finished in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, department of Graphic Arts in 1982. He earned his doctorate on the subject “Graphic as Fine Language in Art in Balkan” in Novi Pazar in 2010. He used the fellowship from the Yugoslav fund “Mosa Pijade” for his study to visit Paris in 1986. Since 1980 he has been a member of DLUM.  
Today he is a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University “Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje.  Trajce works in all graphic techniques including: collage, printmaking, drawing and oil. He has participated in 63 solo exhibitions in Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, Poland, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, and Romania. From 1979 he has participated over 65o group exhibitions in the country and abroad: France, USA, Macedonia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Serbia, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Montenegro, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, China, Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Belgium, and many other countries.  Has participated in 65 art colonies in the country and abroad.  Has won 14 national and 5 international awards and other recognitions. He is a member in many international associations, including ABI Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, AWI Bluffton USA, ABC Cambridge, England, ASROPA Messina Italy and DLUM, DLUB and ULUBIH.
As a friendly, professional graphic artist, I was very interested and motivated to participate in “A Tribute to George Steiner Bookplate Competition ”.  Taking in consideration the great mind of George Steiner, I decided to participate with special graphic works. which I believe gives additional contribution and admiration to the celebration of Steiner.
